frequently asked questions

• To secure your chosen date, a reservation fee of £150 will be payable upon booking (this is non-refundable).  This amount will then be deducted from your final invoice.

• Final payment is due no later than 4 weeks before your event date. 
  
• Once your booking is confirmed, numbers may be increased at the stylists discretion and pending timings. If reduced, the confirmed total will still be charged.  

• Trial sessions are paid for separately - via bank transfer prior to your trial date. The trial payment is non-refundable.

• Trials are optional and I am happy to discuss your needs and ideas via email if you would prefer.

• Trials can be held at my home studio in Henley on Thames.

• Limited weekend dates are available for trials - these will be charged at Wedding Day Rates (throughout the busy season).
  
• There is a minimum booking of £550 for Saturday weddings from April - September.  A surcharge will apply to all bookings outside of this minimum. The surcharge will be charged at the rate of the difference between the current booking and the minimum until £550 has been reached. 
  
• ​If a wedding or part of a booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of a booking you will still incur the full event charge. If for some reason you need to cancel your booking, your cancellation MUST be stated in writing.

• The Client agrees to keep children and infants away from any and all makeup, hair products and heated hairstyling tools for Health and Safety reasons. Children will not be present during delivering of any services. (This includes but is not limited to breast feeding, sitting on laps etc.) Charlie and her assistants (if applicable) will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained in relation to any of the above.
  
• The Client agrees Charlie may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but is not limited to my website and social media pages. I will of course respect your privacy on your wedding day and not share any images you are uncomfortable with. 
  
• The Client hereby acknowledges that whilst the application of makeup and hair styling is generally regarded safe, that allergies, or known reactions to makeup and hair products must be communicated to Charlie prior to any services taking place and that Charlie and her assistants will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking part in any hair and makeup services provided. 
  
• The Client acknowledges that all brushes and makeup products used by Charlie, both Makeup and Hair, are kept sanitary and are sterilised between individual client applications.
  
• The Client and booking party agree that no smoking or vaping is permitted during the services provided by Charlie and/ or her assistants.
  
• The Client agrees to provide basic refreshments during the wedding / event day services.

 In the unfortunate & rare event  (I have not yet had to cancel a booking) that I am unable to complete a booking on your trial or wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to illness, accident or weather conditions, reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided. I will make every effort to replace myself at short notice where possible. Each booking will be treated separately with individual circumstances taken into account. This however can not be guaranteed and is subject to a replacement artists availability.

Once your reservation  payment has been made you have agreed to the above terms with no exception.
